WELLKHANA KITCHEN RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 tbsp flax meal plus 1/2 Tbsp water mixed

  • 1/8 cup coconut oil, melted

  • 1/6 tsp almond milk (or other nut milk)

  • 1/6 cup apple sauce

  • 1 tbsp agave

  • 1/6 cup cashew butter or almond butter

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  • 1.5 tbsp coconut flour

  • 1/2 cup oat flour

  • 1/8 tsp baking soda

  • 1/3 bar dark chocolate, chopped

  • Pinch of salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees

  2. Mix flax, agave, coconut oil, almond butter, almond milk, and apple sauce.

  3. Stir in coconut flour, oat flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Let sit for about 5 minutes to let the coconut flour absorb some of the moisture.

  4. Fold in chocolate chunks, leaving some on the side for later.

  5. Place parchment paper down on a baking sheet and drop cookie dough blobs using a spoon - making about 12 small cookies or 5-6 large cookies.

  6. Place some more chunks of chocolate on the cookie sand sprinkle with salt.

  7. Place in oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
